Toast and Athene have raised over $1000 each year (2007, 2008, 2009) for the Susan G. Komen Ride for a Cure for Breast Cancer

Toast and Athene have competed in a number of Versatility Competitions, including The Versatile Horse & Rider Competitions at Equine Affaire in 2007 and 2008.
In 2009, they have started competing in Endurance races, winning their 1st 30-mile race in New Jersey, and achieving a top Ten Finish (7th) in their 1st 50-mile race in New Hampshire.

Toast has a number of students and riders who love her. Her favorite of these is probably Kristiina Hurme, a grad student at UConn who spends hours with Toast, training her to do various activities and tricks, which she almost certainly won't do for anyone else! Here are 3 photos of Kristiina and Toast taken late 2009 out in one of the hayfields.

Toast and Jen Cantone have competed together for a number of years, in the Jumpers (They were Novice Champions at Tri-State in 2007, and 3rd for the series in the Schooling Jumpers Division in 2009) .... and in Eventing Competitions at the Novice level.
Madelyn Kruger and Toast debuted in style winning the Championship in the Jumpers at the DeCarli Farm Show on 9/27/09
