Connecticut Equestrian Center is a boarding, lesson and training facility set on 83 acres of beautiful land in Coventry, CT. We have excellent facilities that include 2 arenas: an indoor with rubber footing, a fenced outdoor arena, and 3.5 miles of trails on the property.

We specialize in English disciplines and provide facilities for Equitation riders, Hunters, Jumpers, Eventers, Endurance and Recreational riders. We have a number of instructors available, for dressage, for hunter/jumpers and stadium jumpers, and for beginners, both children and adult. We welcome adults and children of all riding levels and from all age groups.

In addition to regular lessons, Athene also offers trail lessons, versatility training, and problem-solving for you and your horse.

We have schooling shows at home, and offer a range of other activities: Kids' Fun Nights; Sunday Sundowner Rides, Clinics, Social Events, and Get-Togethers. Have a look at the pictures in our Galleries!

Our facility has 24 stalls, with a number of turn-out paddocks of varying sizes for both group and individual turn-out. In addition, 16 of the stalls have small turn-out areas attached. Horses that can be turned out in groups are guaranteed full-day turn-out, and we make every effort to maximize the turn-out opportunities for horses that need to be on their own.

Our full-size indoor and outdoor arenas have professional footings and are groomed regularly. We have a number of trails on the property and easy access to trails in the nearby Nathan Hale State Forest.
